The Ballito Farmer’s Market is a vibrant and exciting destination located within the green rolling hills of the KZN North Coast. The market offers a unique and entertaining experience with over 150 traders that’s sure to delight visitors of all ages. With an abundance of open space, there is plenty of room for families and pets to spread out and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

We have a variety of local exhibitors, producers and traders offering an array of products and experiences including fresh farm produce, fresh cut flowers and a nursery, unique and local retail, outdoor and casual fashion, kid’s entertainment and activities, art and sculptures, hobbies, crafted goods, lifestyle products and outdoor activities.

THE EXPERIENCE

At our market, you’ll find a wide range of food stalls, each offering delicious and unique cuisine, curated from locally-sourced ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or savory, you’re sure to find something that will tantalize your taste buds. And, if you’re in the mood for a refreshment, The Pump House is the perfect spot to quench your thirst.

The weekend market is family and pet friendly, boasting a dedicated Little Peoples Paddock, where children can play and have fun while parents relax and unwind. The Little People’s Paddock includes two jungle gyms, one for the little tots and a larger playground for the bigger kids. There is a separately dedicated Teens Coop for the Gen-Z.

The market offers live music performances by local artists, creating an inviting and lively atmosphere that’s perfect for a day out with the family. Our market is open on weekends and public holidays providing the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and indulge in some quality time with loved ones and friends alike.

We are located on the R102 heading from Umhlali towards Shakaskraal.
Take the Salt Rock turn off from the N2 when travelling north and turn left towards Umhlali at the traffic lights. Continue straight until the next traffic lights opposite Umhlali Prep School and turn right onto the R102 towards Shakaskraal.
We are about 500m past the Umhlali Police Station, turn right at the “Ballito Farmers Market” sign board and we are just over the railway. Please be careful, there are trains
